Title: Strange reflect with frosted glass
Post by: kuttle on 2017-05-02, 12:01:59
I, i'm doing an interior scene and using frosted glass on the windows, but the reflect that appears on the floor is not correct as you can see in the image. I'm using a plane with coronaLight material for the image(https://cdn.pbrd.co/images/1nH8BRNWx.jpg)

Is the "visible to reflection\refraction" option checked in Object properties of glass?

Hej kuttle,

I had this behaviour some time ago.
It took me some time to figure out, what´s the problem.

See:
https://forum.corona-renderer.com/index.php/topic,13584.msg87578.html#msg87578

Ondra answered there.
Maybe he can "fix" this in next build (?)

If you set the glossyness from the floor mat to 1.0 it shows the frosted glass correct.
Even with 0.99 glossyness it will show the "fault" result.

I dont like this too & I hope we can expect and update on this.

best
Nico
