Title: Simple texture manipulation of materials
Post by: Hayapapa on 2017-04-11, 00:56:58
Hi there,
This may be a simple question but is there a way to adjust hue, saturation, luminosity of textures you feed into the Diffuse Color (without using an external program) ? I've been playing with Corona but I can't find a node to do it? I'd appreciate if anyone can tell me how.

No there isn't a generic hue/saturation/lightness map.

You could use the Mix/Curve nodes with white/black to simulate the saturation/lightness in a way.

Using a combination of channel shader, tone map shader (multiply/offset) and mix shaders (add) I think you could get a hue change.

Thanks blanchg for your reply, and great work on the exporter! I will try your suggestions.
Is there documentation about what those shaders do?

This is the documentation I used to create the exporter https://corona-renderer.com/wiki/standalone/mtl-maps
