I'd like to make more of these macro-renders, really fun to just play around with cameras when the model and the scene is set up and posed. :)

Cool... I did a Basilisk some time ago and i can totaly agree on your comment. Playing with These fine Details and camera positions is just fun. How did you build the model. Sculpting Programm or old School box moddeling in max?

Cheers! Yeah, it's great fun. Really wakes up the photographer in me :)

I initially sculpted the model in Zbrush, then did a retopo in Blender and finished up the details in Zbrush. All the final scene setups etc. were done in good old Max.
