Title: Rendering alot of lights in interior
Post by: filipskrzat on 2017-04-09, 00:16:33
Hi guys i need an advice...
Currently i am working on image of interior with many light fixtures,

I tried to tweak render settings, best i got is around pass 150 i got lets say "acceptable" noise reduction,

In theory, would it be better to use CoronaLightMaterial just for show and light scene with lights?

That limitation was lifted since 1.4 release. I think you should link to this article instead: https://coronarenderer.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/5000515603-should-i-use-corona-light-material-or-self-illumination-to-illuminate-my-scene-

thank you for your replies!

I am acquainted with those articles, my problem is those lights are my main light sources... there is just so many of them.
Using self illumination with multipliers like 1000 still wont make it.
I think i will workaround this by lighting scene with invisible lights and making those just for show.
