Title: Relaxing Shed in the woods
Post by: annkos on 2017-02-14, 21:17:24
Hi guys! Free time project inspired from the Garden Shed by Ville Hara and Linda Bergroth but i represent it like a sitting area instead of bedroom. Thanks

Very nice images.

Only the night shot looks a bit creepy / uninviting

Nice images but some how I get the feeling that interiors and exterior shots were made by two different persons, the feel different. I think there is to much bloom and the fog looks weird. This doesn't add to a relaxing atmosphere. Also agree with pixelab, dusk looks creepy. Don't get me wrong, interiors look great and exterior vegetation looks great as well. Seems more like something fixable in postpro than in 3d.
Interiors looks really clean and clear with nice detail as well as vegetation. Keep it up.

Thanks guys! You are the only forum that gave me a constructive feedback, i really appreciate it! The night render was made only with lightmix so not properly done and thats why probably looks like that. If my daughter leave me any more free time i ll make some corrections and re upload the night one..for the  other renders i like the mood really to be honest and i dont want to change something but i guess its a matter of taste.

If you rework night shot you should avoid bare bulbs and prefer soft shadows (using lamp shades, or multiple small light sources to break the sharp shadow effect)

Also pay attention to the color temperature, which is too red here and should be more orange IMO.

But you probably know all that ;)

Thanks! Yes everything you mention is right, just it wasn't my intention to do a night shot, just is that lightmix feature that is so tempting to play around!
