Title: upload file in mantis always failed
Post by: Christa Noel on 2017-01-27, 02:28:48
hi coronateam,
I always got "APPLICATION ERROR #500 File upload failed. This is likely because the filesize was larger than is currently allowed by this PHP installation." after several minutes uploading an attachment in mantis. my file size is just as big as 14MB and the filetype is 7z.
how big is the maximum size allowed? or, is anything wrong there?

Don't know the size limit in Mantis off the top of my head, but to get by in the meantime whether it's meant to be failing with that size or not, can use
https://corona-renderer.com/upload/

Hello!

Is this https://corona-renderer.com/bugs/view.php?id=2442 your bug report? It seems that upload was successful after all, right?

I've looked into this issue and I couldn't find anything which could cause it on our end: the maximum file size is around 120 MB, so that shouldn't be the problem.

There could probably be some timeout along the way. Are you physically located in Indonesia? What is your Internet speed (download and upload)? Do you use some proxy? Do you experience any other problems with the https://corona-renderer.com/ website (or forum, Mantis, blog...)?

If the upload was successful after all, did anything change on your end (did you try another computer with another Internet provider perhaps?)?

Thanks!

Hi neo,
Yes i tried to upload it few times again after i posted this thread, and finally it is uploaded successfully
Yes im physically located and live in Indonesia. Internet speed at that time is about download:near to 1Mbps & upload:100-200kbps, both are according to my activities with onedrive.
About proxies, i never use them & i dont trust proxies
But i didnt try with another internet provider, i should tried it. I will try it if this problem occurs again, i planned to report a bug again in monday.

Thanx tomG, i'll use that as the alternative.
