Title: Free scanned photogrammetry bread
Post by: PMVis on 2017-01-18, 14:54:14
Hello everyone,

I have been working on some 3d assets using photogrammetry. You can download a bread for free here:

Hope you like it and can use it in your scenes! Below some other assets I created.

Phil

Yes and no :- ). 3D Objects can be created frin using photogrammetry (direct method, a "true" photogrammetry), photogrammetry into point cloud meshing (Agisoft), laser and many other scanning methods.

the difference is in obtaining the data

photogrammetry (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Photogrammetry) utilizes photographs (or any other flat imagery, 2d data) / Comparing 7 photogrammetry systems by ATOR (http://arc-team-open-research.blogspot.com/2016/12/comparing-7-photogrammetry-systems.html)
3d scanning (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/3D_scanner) utilizes measuring, metering equipment (laser, sonar, projection of patterned light) to measure the distances & dimensions between surfaces in materialized reality > more precise
;) for thorough understanding follow links and study well

Thank you OP for the bread :D
