Title: Taupe Kitchen WIP
Post by: chartensimage on 2016-12-09, 11:05:57
Hello Everyone.

Sharing my recent non-commercial WIP. Would love to hear some advice on design if there are any architects willing to help a bit. Thanks from advance.

Cheers.

(As a last year's architect undergraduate):

Lighting is perfect. The wooden floor and table/chair as well. The tiles on the background are very nice.
Everything looks clean and modern.

The only thing that I would change is the cabinet, that is extremely symmetric, just to add more realism.

(now as a Corona beginner user):

Corona is pretty straightforward, but sometimes (very few) is hard.
So...
Anything that you share about this scene, specially lighting and materials, would help.

Very Nice, I like the overall mood.

There is some strange color association on the ceiling, not sure if the yallow/greenish walls goes well with the blueish ceiling.

I'm discovering Corona (for arch interior) and I'm wondering if you want to share your post processing values ? I guess it's nothing fancy :)

Highlight compression
Saturation
Filmic highlights and shadows
Contrast

eventually  you settings for

Vignette
Bloom
Glare

thx a lot !

Hello.

Thank you for your attention and responses. The lighting is an HDRI as the enviroment simulation coming from outside plus Corona Light from behind the camera that is simulating soft box. There is just Corona VFB color grading in the image. Contrast set to 5.0 plus Canon DSC n5 LUT applied and filmic shadows and highlights on 1.0. That's it. (Concerning new version)
