Hello! I find the bug. I set Reflection Override to pure black and Glossy for floor to 1.0. And all is fine - reflection of floor is black.

But if i set Glossy for floor to 0.9 (or any values except 1.0), then reflection becomes white. (Light is HDRI, Corona is 1.5).

What is wrong?

I found the problem is in the sun of HDRI. It's original render:

Reflection settings:

And now I set Reflections override to Black:

All is fine.
Then I changed Reflection Glosiness to 0.9:

This is obvious BUG.
(By the way, I checked this scene in VRay. There's no such problem.)
I hope it will fix soon. Thank you in advance.

Confirmed. Happens also with Corona Sky.

Yes, but you can turn off CoronaSun reflection, unlike HDRI Sun...
How many chances to fix this in the near future? Or is it a distant prospect?
Thank You.

it is because the reflections becomes partially classified as diffuse when lowering glossiness. Currently there is no easy fix for this

i am closing this as I am moving all similar reports to one place in our internal bug tracker

Hi,
Is there any solution for this known bug? 1.7 fixed it?
Thx

not fixed in 1.7, we will investigate it in version 2 or 3
