Title: Right click on render
Post by: Jadefox on 2016-11-15, 21:37:16
Hi Guys

As a newbie, I would like to know the relevance of right clicking on a render and the screen ( as attached )
shows up. What does those values mean and how does this assist me in my render.
I've noticed that when Mapped RGB goes over 1 I have blowouts in that region

Is there any other way that this information assists ?

Regards

It can be helpful when checking non-RGB data, for example render elements like the WorldPosition, which create values well outside the range that can be displayed in RGB.

Like Tom said. Plus this can be sometimes useful for debugging - e.g. for checking if some "strange" black or white pixels appear.
