Title: LightMix - Baking
Post by: Tanakov on 2016-11-10, 15:12:33
Hey, I noticed that this will be solved in 1.6 yet I have a question for now.

Can you guys quide me on what I did wrong here?

I have setup lightmix with about 12 light groups, I think that LM made the right mood, so I figured I will try to make it to my image.
I tryed to copy all the LM colours and values to my lights LM value * Light value, and coronamix colors "multiply" and paste the result color in to the proper slot.

My result:

What did I do wrong?

The only think I can image is that once you have set the light in the way of the LM you have to play with the white balance [K] in the  POST settings
Maybe I am wrong, try.

I am not really sure what's going on here. I made a very simple test, and everything seems to work as expected. So here is what I did:
-created the 2 lights with white color and 50 intensity
-auto setup light mix
-render
-changed light one to cyan, intensity 2
-changed light two to magenta, intensity 0,5
-save light mix pass

-in viewport select light 1, set color to cyan, intensity to 100
-in viewport select light 2, set color to magenta, intensity to 25
-render
-save beauty pass

Are you sure that after "baking" the LightMix values into your scene lights, you did not save your LightMix pass instead of Beauty?
In such case you would end up with LightMix actually altering the already baked values.
