Title: Steampunk Station
Post by: Mattiagiglio1993 on 2016-10-03, 16:52:50
I'm just a beginner in 3d and very new to Corona but.. when i use thi renderer i fell complety free and i can focus more on creativity and into learning new things!!
Very happy with it.

This is a simple scene but still a nice setting to begin with. Especially to try sss, volume, scratches bump displacement ecc. So it's more like a learning scene then a proper project
Five hours 500 passes.

I hope that you will try to improve that picture, because i like steampunk quite much. But right now your picture is rather boring. There's a lot interesting objects, but all of them are scattered throughout scene without much logic and doesn't tell a story. Main character is showing her back and doesn't stand out of the picture in any way. Lighting is flat and uninteresting (underexposed too). It's hard to tell something about materials in such lighting, but textures seems good.

Please keep on working and try not to focus on getting very clean render too much, but rather try to raise artistic value of this image.

You are complety right, in fact i've said that is just a collection of things to learn: skin, volume, texture stuff ecc!
