Chromatic aberration makes them look like shots from a cheap point and shoot camera. ;)

I think what Maru was trying to say is that it is too much... I second that.

When I see such strong chromatic aberration, I wonder: what is the point of this image? If it's supposed to be just a photo-like shot of an engine (not sure what this device is), then this chromatic aberration is too strong, because you rarely find it in modern cameras. If it's supposed to be a product viz for CAT, the it's too strong because it doesn't match the modern technology and looks just strange. If it's purpose is to show your post processing skills, then it's also too strong. No offence intended, I am not questioning your skills (I would probably never do such nice model and texturing), just rating the image.

The CA is pretty strong but I think for these images it is very fitting. It's a matter of taste, I think. I like to use VrayToon, for example, and have found most people think it ruins an image while I think a combination of a photoreal interior mixed with cartoonish outlines is an interesting combination. I see much of the same with this exaggerated use of CA, it's kind of taking something very realistic and adding something which makes it seem "off" but interesting at the same time. I wouldn't use it in commercial projects, of course.

Ohh, no problem, you right. I just testing VFB plus (color correct, lens effect). I not use anywhere this strong effect.
