Title: Cyan Eyed needs you!

Hey everyone, the short animated film I have been working on for the last few years has now got a Kickstarter campaign running. The funds will be used to complete the last 30% or so of the film, with most of it going to pay for the work that the world's best sound design company, Skywalker Sound, have done on for Cyan Eyed.

The steampunk themed film is rendered with Corona, and is aiming for an early 2017 release. There's lots of great rewards up for grabs! If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.

did you fully build it in 3dsmax? especially for the characters

Yup, everything has been made in Max, including the characters.

Nice work. Really inspiring. I do hope to make a short animated movie at some point in the future. I have played around with animation in the past in both 2d and 3d animation. If I do find time to do one, it would be a hybrid of both mediums and of course, corona would be the best choice for rendering the 3d components.

Then maybe, another short one with a photorealistic approach, fully 3d.

Thanks melviso, if you want some valuable advice from someone who has released two animated short films that have played in over 100 film festivals and won a bunch of awards, or about anything to do with VFX in general from my 20+ years in the industry, there is an appropriate reward for a one hour Skype conversation with me, *wink wink*, the 'Inquiry Agent' tier. But I'd be happy to do two hours for any takers!

Yes, I will be blatantly slinging my campaign for the next month or so I'm afraid, sorry in advance ;)

That's pretty cool! Would be great to see it in VR too, stepping into an environment like that would be awesome!
