Title: Glass_Window reflection on an interior
Post by: Philip kelly on 2016-08-18, 18:21:34
Hi

This may have been covered, but I can't find it .
Interior set up, rendered and the glass in the window is 5mm thick, and I can't get it to reflect a  slight amount for the perfect look.

Can anybody help me with this please?
Image attached

Thank you

This is after you added background in photoshop ?

Glass reflects brighter parts (interior) if the behind is darker for most part. So either you use such override for visibility which preserves darker alpha map and some reflection on glass, or you overlay reflection pass of light (using matID select) on top of you background in Photoshop as well.

Juraj

Thank you for the reply.
No this a straight out of Max and Corona Render.
I just want a hint of reflection on the glass.
A Pass maybe the only way.

Thank you

Question combo time:
Which version of Corona is this? How is this scene made? Glass is thick or thin? How is the background made?

Have you seen this guide? https://coronarenderer.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/5000515605

Corona 1.4
Max 2017.
I have seen the guide, but still no reflection from the surface of the glass on the inside really, with out compositing in PS afterwards.

Can you send a scene (or a part of it) to us? https://coronarenderer.freshdesk.com/support/tickets/new
I am not sure what is going on here...
