Hi guys, my latest small project.
A new condo in my hometown, really expensive..

No mater if clients are assholes i think anyway visualiser should show some love to the visuals especialy if he\she plan to use it in portfolio.

Yes and no, it depends if they pay u...I know that the world is full of 3d artist that do it for passion,but a lot of other guys do it as job.

Then what point is to show such work publicly, if you're not happy with it?

For getting some comments and critics. The project is finished for me (also for lack of time) but there is always the posibility to get better and learn.

You are an amateur lacking will to succeed. I also don't believe you are very intelligent person, otherwise reason would prevail.
Sky is boring, empty. Illustration is not just a copy/pasting of visible realm but showing, sharing emotions. Even photographers know it.
Texturing is bad, repetition and some obvious seams. Learn splatting...
Darks are too dark, black. There's no 0-0-0 black except in singularity (black hole), every other matter gives some photons back. As there is no pure white material.
Looks as if no effort invested, even if it was built in a day (and under stress)... shows lack of skill, practice and experience.
Seems the project was finished before you started it (a prejudice).
Learn basics. Get to know foundations of art, aesthetics... feelings, pain, pleasure & joy. All shared via medium of light. Experience the catharsis.
To master any artistic skill, stay mentally strong, do your best or simply say no, before tickling the demons.
While working with clients, it is not clients fault for miscommunication, it is artist that is def.

What the heck? If this is your understanding about criticism, then you should immediately stop giving it. There is no excuse for insulting forum members and next time i'll see something similar from you or anyone else, i will delete a post and will ask admins for a temporary ban for offender. Learn how to behave nicely, please.

actually I like the moodiness of the renders.
the only possible tip I can give, is when you meet clients from hell or generally speaking give them very low res images (800px?), until they pay up then give them the full resolution.

@romullus, thanks for your post but I don t think it s necessary to ban the other companion. I would rather ask to delete my entire post than see someone kicked out for his/her thoughts.
All of you have right about the effective quality of the work and my bad moon about this project. I also want to apologize because english is not my mother language and maybe my words has a taste of carelessness which is not

Please, tell me sephirudex, are you experienced or just starting? Correct me if my conclusions were faulty. I too need an honest word to better myself. Am often blunt in pursuing harsh cold 'truth' to the core. Honestly I wish anyone would succeed, tho in this modern CG-esque environment the probability is less than 10%. That's my 'cause to challenge individuals swimming in rapid rivers. Don't fight the flow, learn to use it to your advantage.
Done work for hell-raisers too. That is why such suggestions. Clients either want you exploited/enslaved or they honestly want your work of art. In any case, if a client can't forward 30-50% in advance means, client is shitting you, so there's no work for them to be done. Even preparations take quite some time.
Remember you are real, you feel reality, you know... so why? Never doubt self.
The basic principle of capitalism & free market is: Exploitation!
Money is a tool, a written word of a belief system on paper "Value owned!" Very persuasive words for soul to enslave.
Keep it up.

It is not about exploration. It is about working with people who are agreed to work on your terms.
For example.
Not happy with the price? Then you can look for someone else.
Not happy with the result and that is why you does not want to pay? Whos fault? visualiser? Then you should do something about it. Clients crapy design? Then he should pay.
Not happy with the time? Then you should pay more or look for someone else and lose more time or get shit'o vray renders.
And most important thing!
ALWAYS SIGN CONTRACTS WITH CLIENT!
