well ... seems that DRserver as service mode can't read network assets ...
i just test in normal mode [non service] and everything was good ...

Sure it can. Having this setup since the big bang. What´s not possible without further efforts is access to any mapped drives. But UNC paths as you use it in an exemplary manner should be no problem.

As which user do you had the service run? System or another? Are the nodes on the same workgroup/domain? Have you granted read access to group "Everyone" on shour share (required)?

Good Luck

even that can be enabled, although microsoft does not recommend it for security reasons

DrServer was run via nssm!! i think that if Drserver be capable to run directly as service , this problems will be solved ...

Yes, you wrote that, all ok. But you may probably not realize that there is still an account running any process, my question was which one (amongst other questions you have ignored). Btw: even when DrServer would be implemented directly (alternatively) as service executable you will find that even this one runs with some credentials which have some little importance when accessing resources :)

Good Luck

nope !!

from that page:
" As a result, 3ds Max, which will also get started with elevated rights, cannot access assets which are stored on network-mapped drivers unless UNC paths are configured."

I doubt this Maru, it runs ok for him when run directly (see Reply #3). But when I ask 3 questions and get 1/2 answer I cannot help any further.

Good Luck

Ah, sorry, I didn't fully understand the problem. I get it now.
