I tried to setup Max launching with different versions of Corona, like int this (https://coronarenderer.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/5000577837-how-to-run-different-corona-versions-at-the-same-time-) article about a week ago, but get lost when i had to write all those paths. Either that article could be better explained or my brain needs couple more folds :]

I followed that guide a few times (since I don't remember all of that) and always managed to do it, but if you believe something could be written better or more clearly let me know which parts you find confusing. I am always open to suggestions, and this applies to the whole helpdesk.

It's that part which gets me confused:
4. Open notepad and paste the following code:
1 | [Directories]
2 | corona=version1
Ptahs in your example are C:/corona/version1/ I used different paths to store Corona dll files. Should i change line 2 in that ini file accordingly to my paths?
-
Yes, it works only if you are using exactly the same naming as in the guide (I will add this info).
So if your folders are:
X:/folder/folder1
and
X:/folder/folder2
Then the 1st .ini should be
1 | [Directories]
2 | corona=folder1
It just tells Max where to look for Corona files.
The only problem I have now is that Max always displays warnings about some MR stuff missing when opening scenes (not sure why as it is still allowed to look for all the native plugins). But I just click ok and forget about it.

Now it's much clearer. Thanks for info!
I'll split those posts and will move to appropriate board.

Hi
if it could be of any help, I use the method Martin described in this post https://forum.corona-renderer.com/index.php/topic,2796.0.html (https://forum.corona-renderer.com/index.php/topic,2796.0.html)
I find it quite easy to use. The only thing you have to remember is not to swap Corona versions when you are rendering on your farm.

This method is also mentioned in that support article. :)

Sorry, didn't read the article. :-)
