Title: can't see materials

Hi I'm new 3ds and corona user.
I ve got a problem with adding materials to objects. When i put some bitmaps (for example wood), in 3d view i always see gray color. When i try to render this it still gray
Im looking for help.

Sounds like you're dragging the bitmap to the object? That won't work. You need to put the bitmap into a material (diffuse slot) and then assign the material to the object.

Which version of Corona is this? Any chance to share a scene?

Then it should render. I see that your box UVW is set to "Use Real World Scale", so make sure that the bitmap is also set to use real world scale, OR uncheck this in both material and object. This setting must be the same in both material and object. If not, it can result in the bitmap being shown extremely small - which in this case could look like grey.

If it still renders grey, then try applying a clear colored bitmap to see what happens.

sorry for nonsensical issue
