Hi everyone.
In this thread I will post my renders.
-
Metal test.
-
Nice shaders and an interesting test model. Is it yours? If so, you should show it here: http://forum.corona-renderer.com/index.php/topic,1070.30.html
Metal material looks kind of "fake", like plastic sprayed with metallic paint. Maybe bump maps are too strong?
-
looks like metal still has some diffuse color.

Nope, diffuse = 0

Dunno, maybe
-
Well, i`m waiting for dispersion as well :\
-
Thanks for your job.
Somewhere in forum was thread about fake dispersion. Try to looking for it
-
I`ve tried that dispersion and get awful color fusion.
You know, this scene computing in Maxwell right now, and I look at the Corona render and at the Maxwell render, and see very similar result. Maxwell can give accurate dispersion and anamorphic bokeh... But the price is 16 hours. Corona gives very clean render for the hour... That`s great news

Yesterday model.
-
Great test model, i suggest that we choose this one for a final model and add the corona logo in the middle top of the white sphere as a jpeg.
-
Well, if you like it so, I don`t mind.
It would be honor for me

Just Go the the link above and send your model test renderings, and put on the top the corona logo so Ondra can see it !
-
Another test
-
wow. very clean and yellow )))
-
Great! :)
-
Thanks for your feedback!
A bit more renders
-
I think they have some "artistic" quality. Did you use custom bokeh or just heavy DOF?
-
Yep, I`m using custom bokeh map in most cases. In this case it was Helios-40 lens iris.
And the main view:
-
Last one
-
Wild roses
-
And I keep setting up metal shader
-
Your tests are nice and pleasant to the eye... but the reason you do not get much feedback could be because they are too simple... maybe you could create some more detailed and more complex architectural scene using all the assets you have created so far in one well laid out composition ;)
-
Youre right, Ludwik.
Right now I am working on personal project, which, I hope, will be realized with Corona renderer.
Here`s the WIP: http://www.render.ru/forum/viewtopic.php?topic_id=152244
-
That is exactly what i mean. You have done so many well detailed assets that if you put them all in one scene with a good composition, it is going to be a top notch work. Evermotion front page at very least ;)
-
Thanks for your kind words, Ludwik!
I`ll try to do it as cool as I can.
-
Leaves material and displacement test
-
Some leaves on the ends of branches are pure yellow, I think they should be more orange and a bit darker. Maybe all the leaves should be less translucent and less saturated?

wow Great render

Another sketch.
Modeling, sculpting, cloth simulations, foliage, texture painting made in Blender.
Rendering - Corona standalone
-
Great looking DOF. Is it from Corona or added after rendering? It's so clean.
-
It`s real Corona bokeh with a custom aperture map.
900 passes.
-
For once not that stupid hexagonal apperture shapes :]
-
Nice DOF and copper shader on those last renderings! :)
