Hi,
the images from dropbox are not working. You need to either use the dropbox public folder for that, or rehost them somewhere else (forum attachement, imgur)

Rawalanche, thanks!
Certainly, I plan to work further, it is pleasant to me that with corona render there is a possibility to be engaged in creativity.
Simply my computer has died in November, therefore I did not continue to do final works.

I think it doesn't make sense to use GI/AA 4 or 6 when DOF is off and 1 when DOF is on. You should use about 16 when DOF off and at least 4 when DOF on. On the other hand, this isn't so important if you have lots of time to render. I also wouldn't recommend using HD cache for exterior shots. PT+PT should work fine amd you don't have to waste time for HD cache precomputations.

Actually, for the super-extreme DoF shots he does, setting GI/AA balance all the way down to 1 may pay off. It's an extreme case, so taking extreme measure may be appropriate :)

maru,
I should not use what or options GI under any requirement.
Ondra only recommended options from which it is possible to make a start, and it is necessary to study and be arranged under a concrete situation further.
In case of a considerable quantity of a grass and trees, you will not see differences between GI 4-8 and 16, it is possible to take a magnifier glass and to find two pixels which differ absolutely hardly hardly...
(It occurs because trees and a grass is much, many small details, with shades, penumbras and light, all distinction is lost in them)
But will increase time renders... When it is used DOF, it is more appreciable.
As, why I cannot use HD for external shots? After all I used, means it is possible! ;)
And how can HD be vain? After all it helps primary GI! And about what vain time there is a speech? HD has occupied time - to steam of minutes. (For a final picture at 2-10 o'clock, HD 2-10 minutes that does not mean!

The theory it is good, but practice is better, and ideally theory + practice.
I have deliberately put low options GI/AA (not from misunderstanding of options), I have spent a lot of time for tests to choose these options.
If the result on 99 % is identical, why I should increase options, and as a result time?

Sorry for my English
(I hope you me understand)

At what options GI/AA it is pleasant to you more?

That you could see as quality changes at different options, or does not change.

I thank all responsible for the help...

Last pictures WIP, I will not spread more, only already the ending.
The project big (5 various statuses of days - a dawn, day, evening, a decline, night + various variants of illumination by lamps.)

What do you mean by "GI/AA". Do you mean GI/AA balance  / Light samples multiplier. So the firs value is GI/AA balance and second is LSM?

In Corona changing these parameters will not make your image look any different. But it will make it render faster or slower! I understand it may be hard to switch from typical Vray/MentalRay thinking to Corona but I think it is essential to understand what you are doing to achieve optimal performance. You are right that it doesn't really matter if you have lots of time. But in such case I would recommend using default settings unless you know what you want to change and why.

Hi!

Remember the message before you have learnt options:
Quote
Beautiful photos. Especially love the macro shots. What lens did you use? ;)

If arranges result, what for to speak about I should use what options?

And if so it would be desirable to prove the case, create the big scene similar to mine,
with a considerable quantity of vegetation and a fog,
Also show on an example as noise leaves faster.

But I know that you will not do what scene,
Therefore, I will show one example:

I kept render, through certain time (1:35,3:00,5:00)
I will show only 1:35 an example (5:00 you can see above)

I think it is not necessary to explain, where it is more than noise?
In 3 hours there was a same situation, only a difference hardly it is less, and by 5 o'clock became a difference became imperceptible.

Increase gi gives more accurate picture
Increase light counts further a ray of light (it is visible on examples above)
(Depending on a situation it is possible not to raise adjustment light sampler, and it is possible to increase force of a light source
Or in general to correct it in PS. As it is pleasant to whom, its will, its problem...)

At a forum there is a subject
https://forum.corona-renderer.com/index.php/topic,5557.0.html
I was initially what to show options, but now I will not do it, it in what does not result, I do only "service of a bear" (Russian proverb)
Especially I do not see positive result from display of options who has not entered in dialogue, and at all have not helped me, having responded to some simple questions ...

And me without a difference in what renders to work, vray, final render, brazil, arnold, maxwel...
I in any can. But it is pleasant all more Corona.

Nice tests.
I applyed a falloff-map into translucency-slot for lampshades before, too.

Thx for sharing.

This effect as does not influence on render time. It is good to use with animation.
Mixing 2 HDR through fallof map, can put more interesting results.
