Title: Very slow interface with 1.4

Hi to all,

I just installed the new 1.4 version.
Now max have a very very slow interface, it just impossible to work on it...............  ;(
Any solution on this problème ??

I'm working on a hp z640 bi-octocore with 32gig ram.

Can you be more specific? What exactly is slow and how much? Can you record a video of the problem?

cannot reproduce
