Title: renderfarm anyone?
Post by: quizzy on 2013-07-17, 21:41:07
Anyone know of a render farm that has alpha 5 running (max2013) or is able/willing to install A5. I might need a farm solution soonish. I have budget so unlike Corona it does not have to be free... ;-)

how many machines and hours do you need?

thanks for the reply key. I need to render around 6000 frames (6K) and on my 3930K one frame takes between 6 and 7 minutes roughly. So that is around 600 or 700 hours on one machine. Thats between 25 and 30 days rendertime.
I would prefer if it would render in 3 maybe 4 days.

Same question here, ~2600 frames to render, 30min each max on i7 3930k
I had planned to use Ranch Computing render farms, but they don't plan to support Corona yet... Any suggestion ?

Dear Mr.,

I would propose you our renderfram service prorender. We can do this - plus more exotical stuff like distributed rendering - and you can completely remote control your renderfarm and applications by yourself. For more informations please contact me by email to info@prorender.de. As our internetsite with comprehensive descriptions is only in german you can easily translate it with google translation tool. Besides we are speaking english and french.
