Title: Little robot for my demoreel project

Made in a few hours yesterday, rigged tonight, I will use it to present my demoreel with some funny animations !

Nice, he's very expressive with almost no humane features. Only his glowing eye looks strange, especially in reflections.

Yeah I see what you mean, the blue reflection on the orange metal is very violent, I don't know if it bothers me or not, I like it this way :)
Maybe I'll do some test with a texture instead of just a material with emission, what would you suggest ?

How about a shiny lens, or a HAL9000-style glowing orb of doom?

I thought about the HAL9000 effect, but the problem is I think it makes the robot look aggressive, and lacks of expression, whereas the full blue glowing eye makes him more friendly, which is what i want. Some pics so you can see

Indeed, Atlas from Portal 2 will be my inspiration for the animation :)
