creative and awesome render....don't think there's any room for improvement here from my point of view though...congrats!
-
technically it's pretty well done.. but (for me) it's very very chaotic, it's hard to find any visual path (or a real eye catcher). Lighting, colors, and contrast is pretty much the same in the whole picture.
-
Wow, at last something that is not an interior or shader test. :)
I agree with DeadClown, it needs a bit more work on lighting and composition. But still, RESPECT!

visual collaps )

It`s creative, but metal doesn`t look like metal, wrong IOR and diffuse is not turned off. And scratches bump should be negative in your case )
-
Oh my... That is awesome! I'd play a bit more with the lighting to pinpoint some areas, cause as DeadClown said in some renders it looks a bit chaotic and nothing really stands out. But overall it's very convincing :)
-
awesome work as always jeff! glad to see you in the forums..

Thanks everyone! Comment noted. ;-)
@Celes- thanks! And thanks for giving me the idea about the existing material converter script. Like you said, it's a good start and from there; I just tweaked it what I think worked with my scene. :)

I like the creativity, nice rendering.
cheers

I just loooooove it :D

I can see you've done some nice post processing. :)
