Amazingly well done one.

Hmm... It is good on the technical side, but it's still kitschy like most of game trailers. ;)
Some of the scenes were clearly inspired by the works of Zdzislaw Beksinski, here is a link if someone doesn't know this guy yet: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zdzis%C5%82aw_Beksi%C5%84ski

One could argue Warhammer is a "kitscy" setting by design :- )
Do you find TheWitcher trailers to be kitschy too ? Those are done quite tastefully.

Yup. Maybe I used a wrong word here. It's like watching most of "mainstream" movies right now - explosions, shaky camera, explosions, vfx, explosions. Perfectly crafted, but not really interesting.

AFAIK these ones are made by Platige which is one of the biggest film companies in Poland. They also managed to smuggle quite a bit of Slavic atmosphere from the original books by Sapkowski, which is very good. It's like top level in game trailers. :)
Btw, the only Witcher I played was 1 and I enjoyed it. I somehow can't really force myself to play anything recently.

It is nice but I prefer Blizzard trailers way more :)

Yup, Platige really is the next Blur.
Well I highly suggest Witcher3, esp. if you're keen on loosing job or girlfriend.

Then do yourself a favor and don´t, don´t play #2 :)
Good Luck

This universum is all about Legio Astartes - the Space Marines - forces of humanity waging war on the xenos forces such as the Eldar and Orcs seen here.
Saying that depicting war in WH40k trailer is kitchy is like saying that cheese tastes like cheese and it's strange IMHO :D.
I think that overall convention of portraying the world is awesome even if it was inspired by Beksinski.
Looking forward to playing the game, DoWI was very fresh in terms of game mechanics.

don't like this treiler as and for second game, only creation of blur for first game i can watch many times and it's really cool
here my favourite too)

About inspiration used for the trailer it also might be https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/H._R._Giger (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/H._R._Giger) some of his works share almost identical atmosphere, mostly the eldar witches part of the trailer.
The unusial thing about this trailer is that it does not reaveal straight idea of the game, there is something under the skin. Which is unusial for warhammer trailers.

Really nice trailer. There is something unusual about it and unique at the same time. Has a mysterious feel to it.
Great work to the guys that put this together.

Wow. Afterall it seems that Maru was right.

Heh, you can't miss that organic-spider-web-like texture. Beksinski was an interesting person. His whole life was a nightmare, as was his painting. His son committed suicide (btw he translated Monty Python sketches). Eventually he was killed in his apartment. And he would always say that he doesn't put any deep philosophy in his paintings - he was just painting to make money for a living.

I think not, mecha prety much resembles what is going on in tabletop. Just a little more rusted.
