Hi guys, is about a week now I am seeing a strange behaviour with DR.
When I sent a job with Backburner to a Master PC which then has to use DR with another server, the server task always shows Rendering Initial Pass and not the effective passes is calculating, if it really does. How is possibile after 3hrs and 49mins we are still in the Initial Pass process? Is this ok or something is wring with DR?
I attach an image to show you what's going on...
Thanks in advance.

Hi Dionysios,
Which version of Corona?
Which version of 3ds Max?
:)

Hi!
Corona version RC2
3ds Max 2016
If you need anything else please let me know...

I am not sure if there were any DR fixes, but have you tried with RC3? https://www.dropbox.com/sh/kgzu0cqy903ygmb/AABGNQdQmqM_baOtRNZxE5-Ma/Corona%201.4%20RC3.exe?dl=0
Are you using the newest DrServer which is included in the RC installer?
-
that is by design, the number of passes is reset every time the update to master is set
-
Thanks for the answer, so now, when DR render is using Backburner, we can't see the slaves which exact pass are working on? If yes, we can live with it! :D

you can see how many passes each node sent on the master in the DR tab. We might improve the message in the future to be more informative, but it would lead to an ugly solution currently

Thanks Ondra but the Slave which does the manager, doesn't have any DR tab when Backburner is used for the render.
