Thanks, that's a good find, will give those a try.

It's not perfect, but does pretty good job. Here is an example. It was made from one photo only.
One issue I had is that seamless maps don't come out very well.

Hello Maru..
Thank you for the example . You are a good observer and you are a great investigator

PixPlant does a good job, making seamless tiles.
Thanks rafpug for pointing out the excellent scripts!

Hello Maru, I am pleased with the positive repercussion of my tool. Did you see that one of the package of tools is to remove seams?
It does not work 100% in all cases, this tool will get an upgrade soon.

I think the seam removal didn't work very well for me, don't remember why, I might check it later.

Nice tool. I think I have heard of this before. Problem is I love being in control of how I want my textures to look but this could actually speed things up and be used to create the other base textures from a handpainted detailed diffuse texture before going in and handpainting details and making the necessary alterations and corrections. Will give this a try. Thanks for the tool, tiagodmed
Nice prototype, maru. Would be cool if spec and gloss maps could be generated as well.
