Hi,
is it possible to somehow automate the manual workflow shown in this video for corona renderer? I use Colimo a lot in my daily work and would love to use it also with corona :-)
Thanks and best regards

I'll have a chat with Victor and Ondra, maybe they can work something out.
Colimo is pretty cool.
cheers

Colima is now availaible for vray and it's so damn nice combination, so with Corona i can imagine how many people will be happy here, great tool !

I did leave a message in the motiva-forum (http://www.motivacg.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=374) and Victor seems to be excited about supporting corona! Now all you guys need to do is get in contact with each other :D Hopefully we´ll see corona-support in colimo soon ;-)
Best regards

It looks pretty well, is there some performance hit ? Or it's just passes so rather minimal ?
-
Hi Ondra,
any news about supporting Motiva Colimo (http://www.motivacg.com/en/colimo/ (http://www.motivacg.com/en/colimo/))? I´m in the middle of a contract work and would love to use corona for the final rendering! It´s kinda hard to switch back to MR for colimo-projects, after using corona ;-D
Thanks in advance,
Nupsi

I'm in the process of implementing it, but unfortunately many higher priority features popped up

Oh my, this would be sooo awesome..

It´s just a very clever way of using render passes, Juraj. So Motiva itself works in realtime. The rendering of the necessary passes in 3ds max takes a while though. But after that is done, you can change textures, lighting, colors etc. on the fly.
@Keymaster
Thanks for the info. Glad to hear that you´re already in the process of implementing it! May I ask for a rough time table....with cream and cherry on top?! ;-D

He pretty much said, that Corona will be working with this program, yet he has more important tasks to acmplish than that.

Hey Tanakov,
and you´re right, he did. But I think it´s still ok to ask nicely if there´s a rough time table.

Hi Ondra, have you had a chance to look into how much work this would be? Could prove valuable with tight deadlines.
-
sorry, I am completely swamped
-
No worries!
-
Hello Keymaster,
I can only assume that you've been busy implementing tons of awesome great features into Corona. I'm loving it! I just wanted to check in and see if future Colimo support was still on table for Corona.
Thanks a ton!
