Hi. I have problem with scatter. If I use scatter with rotating object, for example cylinder, scatter objects has little moving and disappearing when rotation.

How cylinder is rotating? If that's just simple transformation, that shouldn't happen. Also can you show your scatter settings?

Cylinder has very simple and standard rotating. Only rotate x axes. I'd try other simple objects. When I tried sphere the situation was even worse. All of them just do not move, they were rotating instantly. This is a scatter parameters:

This is a another problem example. If I bend edge of the cylinder with taper, scatters start rotating. This is worst than other.

The strange thing is that if I animate the base object, the scattered objects do not animate at all in viewport unless it's refreshed. They just stand still until I move something. I am using the 11.04 build. Could it be because of the nitrous improvements?

Are those scattered proxies animated by any chance? But even so, it shouldn't behave like in your vid. Can you share a simple scene where that happening?
@maru: i'm on the same build and i have no problems with updating. Maybe it's down to the max version? Mine is 2014 sp5.

No, any object has no animation. This is a basic scene. Only cylinder and scatter objects. I tried two version of max. 2014 and 2016. Both of them has same problem. I send you this basic scene.

it is in daily builds, see the section here on forum - but beware of the recent shading changes - backup everything first
