Hi there, here is my new personal project.
It was inspired by "Elle decoration" front cover.
Modeled in C4d, rendered with Corona.
Comments and critique are welcome.
Cheers!

Very nice :)

Really nice shot! Did you use corona sun and corona sky for illumination?
-
Very nice! I like the subtile used look of the materials and the color composition a lot, but the color of the floor looks a bit weird to me ;)
-
Thanks a lot for kind words, I really appreciate :)
The lightning was done with several light planes with different temperature, I experimented a lot with sun/sky and HDRIs, but as this is not complete interior, I ended up with some kind of "product shot" approach.
As for the floor color, this is old painted wood, it looks pretty similar to the original image (at least with the printed one version) :)
I slightly changed the color balance and the overall mood of the image, so maybe this is the reason.
Cheers!

Great great mood! Particles and splotches are done in Photoshop?

this image has a very nice soft lighting and the vintage feel to it. ;)

Sorry, it's always the first thing that grabs my eye. Mill-work- (furniture builders correct me), but the wood grain of the leg is incorrect?
Doesn't stop me from studying the piece :)

btw, I'm a furniture builder too ;), generally wooden leg can't be crossed grain like that. but
the possibility is everywhere with tricks, it can be constructed by 3 layers laminated wood (cross-long-cross grain) with the long grain layer must be thicker than the other cross layer.
and there are some more construction solution for crossed grain leg like that. :D

Thank you guys, for pointing out,
will be more accurate next time.
And thanks for quick tips in furniture making :)
Cheers!
