Hi, I´m testing corona and C4D. The image has 400 passes and has a a lot of noise. I want to ask, is this a problem corona 4.1 or wrong settings (lighting, camera) or need more passes and longer render time? thank You very much and sorry for my english.

I'm far from an expert with Corona but until someone else can help you, this video goes over most of the common problems in 3ds Max for noise. I'm sure a lot of the same principals would apply to C4D.

Read this posts from Corona helpDesk. They may help you better understand the problem. Try to also render CESSENTIAL render elements. In them observe higher noise patterns around the objects. Maybe you did not correctly set up some materials.

If your scene is lit by HDRi and you see lot of noise in GIpass try to light you scene with the CoronaSun and see if you get less noise in less time.

thank you for these tutorials. Render setting was alright, I changed the object window glass on the plane with refract material with thin. For now, I replaced all materials to RGB 200,200,200. But I have a problem with background shader. When I use sun-sky, the backplane takes away the intensity of daylight in the interior. I don't know if I should use to object backround corona and compositing tag disable "seen by GI" or if it's all right. The backround material I used corona light and disabled emit light in the emission settings.
I think the biggest noise and unreality makes the backplane behind a window
now I'm going to set materials
thank you very much

I have a question. In the project settings linear workflow and color profile yes or no? Thanks

Hi, after some improvements, the result is better, but 400 passes and still a big noise. What do you think?

Did you read these two articles: https://coronarenderer.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/5000599619-common-user-errors and https://coronarenderer.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/5000515605-how-to-create-background-material-in-corona-
If so, did you try to render your scene without curtains object?

You can send the scene to support: https://coronarenderer.freshdesk.com/support/tickets/new
