Would be nice to have Corona Round Edges Texmap as a map(mask) for CoronaLayeredMtl or same way for Mix amount map in CoronaMix map
Works perfecty for rounding edges, also for reflection slot but I can't make it to work as a mask between two different materials on CoronaLayeredMtl ( also doesn't works with Ctexmap, but it's not necesary for me ). Or maybe am I missing something?

+ 1. This would make it possible to use "Round Edge" map in many different ways - like for example making a toon shader with other colors than black & white.

I don't think this is possible, nor seems to make sense. I know it's slightly different, but can't you use AO for this?
available in 1.6

This has been requested before:

This is not possible with AO, at least not in all cases since AO relies on geometry and may miss edges. For example, it won't work on a flat plane.
The best example how this should work is to look what the commercial f-edge map does. It will generate a gradient on hard edges (smoothing group borders), open edges or selected edges only.
It would be fantastic to have this as a native map inside Corona.

fixed - round edges map now produces output even in mono slots (previously was disabled to fix a bug)

Great! Looking forward to try it :)

tomorrow in daily build ;)
