Hi guys,
I am having a problem of creating the following special pattern mosaic tiles from Claybrook.
From their website i got a repeatable pattern map and a incomplete texture map.
From the above information, i can only think of using Photoshop, set the pattern map at base and clone the circular shaped tiles texture to the appropriate location.
However, my Photoshop skills are quite bad. I don't have enough of photoshop knowledge to complete this task nicely.
So, Here are my questions:
1. Any other solution for creating this kind of materials?
2. Or any related Photoshop tutorial that i could follow and work on it properly in Photoshop?
The tiles base pattern and texture image attached.

The pattern is repeating. You just need manually lay out one spiral pattern and then scatter it a bit randomly. Shoudn't be a big task in any software, photoshop or 3ds max itself.

Okay, thanks. I am trying.

Found a bit of spare time and did a quick test with 3ds max's helix, box primitives and path deform. Whole thing is fully procedural an easily adjustable. It's easy to make it tileable and you get perfect normal map for free (as well as diffuse, height and others). And it renders lighting fast (render elements only).
