Title: how long should i be rendering for to get rid of noise?
Post by: @matrix on 2016-03-19, 05:48:50
I rendered this image for 2 hours and its still visibly noisy.. I know some of you render for 8 hours or more but is that necessary to completely rid the noise? This image was rendered with stock corona settings except for MSI set to 30.. so not exactly sure why it looks so bad.

That is a simple setup. Is your scene a closed box? If so you dont need to put it in a closed box. In less than 3 minutes you can get rid of all the noises.

Yeah its a boxed room with a big window on one side. Are you saying I should remove one wall thats not visible or something?
