How much memory consumption in a 3k render?

Actualy not much. 7-8k the whole thing weight around 200 m polys. Anyway if you can render heavy exterior scenes on your pc than it will simply handle my rugs. I alreagy used those in combined interior / exterior scene with total of 30 000 M polys and it consumped smwhere around 20 gigs of ram.

You should definitely show some in-action shots! I remember it when you showed this technique and it's nice to see that you are putting it to a good use.

Actualu it seems that i will finish first pack of 5 rugs today and 2 more volumes (if i will be lucky) by the end of this week. I have waited waaaay to much to finish this.

Also i plan to record a video tutorial on how to use them. And i have an idea on how to make them corona exclusive.

PS - by the way i am planing to make one free for non comercial use sample rug to play with. Wich will be avalible as soon as i will finish the work with this 3 volumes.

Nice, but I think when you bolted the support of hair & fur, they are very relevant, still very expensive in terms of geometry )

Yup, they are perfect. Nekrobull - are they based on some real product? Is it animal fur, or something synthetic? Are you using some reference to get the desired look?

Real once, that is Kyle Bunting. And those suposed to be real animal fur. Somewere natural collor somewere painted.

By the way it is not me who is keeping release times back but my boss who 1 - can't provide me spare some time off daily routine to complete the modeling for last 5 rugs(for now) 2 - could not deal with people who sould have fineshed market web page 4-5 months ago...
