very nice love the light ...
-
your light bulbs behave like standard downlights and this looks wrong, other than that, really nice mood and images
-
Appart from the ies light on the light bulbs :P those are incredible!
Amazing renders!
-
Wow, congraz! It really looks clean. I like how much contrast you got with only one or 2 colors!
-
very nice and clean, what were the render times
-
i dont understand how u came up with the idea of using ies data for bulbs? images are still great though...most of us critics are usually architects or interior designers so we cant just ignore the ies flaw, sorry dude, pls change it
-
I assume he used an IES file because naked bulb light is boring and has no shape. I'd carefully call it artistic license ;)
-
Hey!
Thank you all for the feedback.
Render Time was around 40 Minutes on our Renderserver.
In case of the light bulbs...i attached our photo reference.
-
the reference image is of poor resolution but if you look closely you will notice, that there are no regular bulbs there, but some kind of small halogens or a bulb which is partialy nontransparent and therefore casts directional light ;)
you on the other hand used regular light bulbs and this immediately screams "fake"
but dont get me wrong, I still think that your images are great. If it wouldnt be those light bulbs I'd probably think those are photos if I'd see those on the internet :)

Well done!!

Here are higher resolution images (guess it's a referenced project), visibly not ordinary bulbs... ;)
