Title: shading issue (triangles)
Post by: boumay on 2013-06-24, 00:03:42
I have this problem, I cannot manage to get rid of it, no matter what I try, smoothing groups, relax, etc etc.
How can I solve this and get a smooth surface please?
Thank you in advance

Shading Triangle?? To be honest with you, your information are insufficient, your render are too dark. I cannot really pinpoint what problem you are having or what solution you are looking for.

are you using bump mapping?

yes I use bump mapping, and when I turned it off, triangles were gone.
But what if I want to use bump mapping, is there a way to get rid of this problem?
Thank you for your help

This is a known problem, same as http://forum.corona-renderer.com/index.php/topic,443, you either have to tesselate the geometry more, use less intensive bump mapping, or less specular light sources
