Title: Inspirated in B&B Ray Sofa
Post by: Caue Rodrigues on 2016-01-09, 13:18:06
Hello guys,
this is a job and the customer asked to follow strictly a reference of B & B Ray Sofa catalog.

I used also some ready-made models, BBB3viz and known libraries.

What was the render times for this?  and on how many machines?

It's a very clean and nice render, funny how Corona just cannot get rid of noise, even though it all in all looks amazing, it's still super grainy.  Some like it.. some don't.

I can't wait for Corona to support hair of some sort in a better and more practical way, as when viewed in 1:1 on my 4K monitor you can tell the carpet feels a little flat compared to the amazing couch.

last thing I find a little odd... is your very nice light model... why would that ever be angled to face the window to the outside? specially when being on?  I know the back of it looks nice, but it makes no sense :-)

Anyway! Stunning render! perfect example of what a "white" render should look like.

p.s. is the gaps between the panels on the left wall the same all across? it looks like the middle is a lot tighter than the sides :)

Keep it up!!  Love the interior design

It took around 3 hours in a single I7.
Sure, you´re right, but in WIP stage it had curtains and had more sense than now. :)
