Title: Alembic motion blur
Post by: jetcrow on 2015-12-17, 16:44:49
Any ideas? :(
As render starts its cashing, because no mb frame rendered emidiately. But no effect.

I am not sure what is happening, but my guess would be:
Geometry Motion Blur will not work for geometry with changing topology - this includes: changing number of faces, vertices, or normals
https://coronarenderer.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/5000516180

I guess it shouldn't be crashing, though.

Can you provide us with a scene?

Well looks like you got a point. I uploading a scene ints weight a lot. Damn i try to make an image with vray, so terrible it is ))

well anyway in helpdesk we can see: Geometry Motion Blur will not work for geometry with changing topology - this includes: changing number of faces, vertices, or normals. As you told.

So ints not a bug its a reality.

But it shouldn't be crashing. Did you mean "crashing" in the first post?

No Maru its incredibly stable :) Its just no MB.
Vray for example support houdini generated meshes and particles through vray proxy ((

Oh, it's "cashing"... should be "caching"? Pre-computation/parsing?
