help my i love this render engine but i have many problem .
my personal project is weeding hall in old classic style and my theme color is golden and white in my opinion Overall modeling is good enough .
but in render phase there is bad problem, because there is not windows in my scene for direct light use.
i used ies light and rectangle light . i don't know other lighting technique , the problem is my render become unrealistic loosing shadow (washed out)
how can i solve it please let me know .

The question is where all this ambient light comes from.
Some ideas:
-decrease albedo (brightness) of white materials
-decrease MSI (max sample intensity in render setup) to about 5-10, but probably no less - this will darken GI light
-I did not understand whether there are some windows there or not - where do the huge white reflections come from? If it's from the windows - you can decrease the brightness of the environment light, or use some more contrasty setup like sky+sun.

Corona rectangle light as ambient intensity 6 all visibility check
Object light inside ceiling socket intensity 2 emit light check
Used many ies light in ceiling intensity 50000.0 cd
material albedo checked white is RGB 210.210.210
There is no windows face to outside completely closed like inside box for using sun and sky or hdri
