Title: Food
Post by: Art15 on 2015-11-27, 16:29:27
Hello everybody,

This is my last project done with the corona, I tried to make some soup. I used Modo to make the base and the ZBrush to sculpt and paint the soup.

Software: Zbrush / Modo / 3dsMax / Corona Renderer

Brilliant. The herbs look especially convincing.

This is being super picky for the sake of it but it doesn't seem right just where the leaves enter into the soup. Maybe the surface should break in a different manner or the soup should be more translucent so that some transition is visible.

Anyway, it's very good!

Thank you very much Ricky Johnson!

Yes, maybe I should get a break on the surface near the leaves. A small detail that I missed. Thank you very much for the tip!

About it being translucent it is a little complicated because in Corona A6 has no SSS and I had to fake, but again thank you!

Best Regards
Arthur

The soup liquid is supposed to upturn to hug the surface of the bowl with surface tension, ever so slightly

Many thanks for the tip spadestick!
This is something that I must improve in a future project.
