Title: Corona License gets linked to the computer user, not the pc itself
Post by: arqrenderz on 2015-11-25, 20:28:22
I work for a mid size companny, we run win 7, every user has an account , but Corona License gets linked to the computer user, not the pc itself.
We have box liscenses (3 of them)

Yes, this is by design.

The activation is per-user, so each user needs to activate the license separately. Note that activating the license for different users on a single computer does not count towards the activation limit.

Also, please remember that the Box licenses are not floating - they are assigned to specific hardware.

yep. It is per-user because of various windows limitations - when UAC got introduced it really screwed some things up. We were able to create per-machine activation, but it created some side-surprises, so we ditched it in favor of per-user
