Hello, noticed that bump effect does not work when using real world scale within coronabitmap, however using real world scale within 3dsmax bitmap works just fine

Second similar report. Can you provide us with some proof? Scene? Screenshot?
Maybe it's 1.3 bump amount change? Or some file format not supported?

hi guys, here are a few screen shots.
Im using version 1.3 at work/home and experiencing similar results. my system units are set to 1 unit = 1 inch
Ive tested this using different bitmap scale sizes ranging from 6"x6" to 12'x12' real world scale and still no bump.

here's what the bump looks like without real world scale applied. "Use Real World Scale" on coronabitmap is disabled and tiling is set to 1.0,1.0

And what is the size of your box model? Does it has transforms reset?

the box is 3' x 3' x 3'

This is hardcore. How were the boxes made? Which version of Max did you use? Here are my notes:
-indeed something is wrong with CBitmap's bump
-it works fine if you instance the map from bump to diffuse
-it becomes visible if you change filtering blur to 0,1 but it is still blurry
-if you set blur to 0 strange things happen
-it works fine if you use standard Bitmap node
-checked with png and jpg - same thing
-now something strange: if I create a new box, sphere, whatever, I am getting the correct result
update: forgot to attach the scene

+ another strange behavior: Bump strength is only half when using Corona Bitmap compared to Max Bitmap.
Image 1: The bump strength is set to 2 in both Max Bitmap and Corona Bitmap.
Image 2: The bump strength is set to 2 in Max Bitmap and 4 in Corona Bitmap.

The box was made using standard primitive and we are using max 2016/corona 1.3

Did you actually create the scene or some of the objects or materials in Corona 1.2 or other older version?

The scene was created from a new scene. Nothing was brought over from Corona 1.2

Same issue in 1.3 - no matter if I'm using corona bitmap or standard bitmap - bump not working in Real World Scale mode. In viewports it maps correctly but still no bump.

confirmed in version 1.3 at a value of 1 bump correctly - if the 99 extrusion force but appears very weak.

Nothing at all. Have set blur to 0.0; 0.05; 0.1; 1.0 - zero difference

I have problem with bump too. If i use corona bitmap with real-world scale - bump doesn't work.

Ok, there is no point in posting "me too" as it is a global Corona issue, not something system-dependent. :)
I will check if it's already reported on mantis and report if it's not...
