Title: IR ignore crop & filteringblur in displacement texmap
Post by: Christa Noel on 2015-11-10, 04:30:57
Hi guys, i found that crop is interactively ignored by IR. must stop and start the IR again to see the result. but it only occurred when i used the same instanced map in diffuse and displacement.
filtering blur is completely ignored by displacement, even in IR or in final rendering.
i think crop problem isn't crucial thing but filtering blur i guess most user need it.

Displacement map filtering acts rather strange in 1.3. By default it's disabled and if i put a "bool geometry.displace.filterMap = true" line in ini file, it works... for the very first time, but on any subsequent rendering filtering gets disabled again until i reset render settings. I wonder if displacement filtering is considered as unsafe and Corona intenionally overrides it or this is just a bug?

I can confirm this. Filtering works strange with displacement. I think it should be re-calculated each time a change is made as it is displacement-related.

is this on mantis?

that big red font looks scary (or cool indeed?). ;) looks like contains with a warning or with loud voice.. or is there another hidden meaning inside?
in some typical cases, I think I need more knowledge on how Europeans try to say something with uncommon kind of typos.. :)
