Just curious if anyone has used this website before.

Just that it seems a little strange (no offence meant) that such a large website isn't available in English. Plus I'm not 100% sold on the website itself.

Just about to make a large purchase on it.

Thanks.

Those are some good, old, proud, patriotic Europeans.
Openly direct... the latest trend in fortress Europe still.
As any sane 'right traditionalist' would state: "A thing for the 'better class people'. If you don't understand, you probably don't deserve it. (pst... and i'm not here to explain it to you).
;)  pun intended

Use translator & enjoy shopping.

Thanks for clarifying that.

It just seems terribly expensive.

These two RAM 128gb kits in 1st link are around 600 eur more than the Newegg counterpart in the last link below (which I just found there now).

The AMD RAM modules suitable (on QVL) for Threadripper and the Zenith Extreme motherboard have the suffix GTZRX (NOTE The X donates AMD platform).

So

centralpoint.be
https://www.centralpoint.be/nl/?page=search&shift=1&reset=1&sideMenuSearch=128GTZRX
See kit F4-2933C14Q2-128GTZRX
€2,733,39

Whereas Neweggs kit F4-2933C14Q2128GTZRX
https://www.newegg.com/global/ie/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820232630&ignorebbr=1
It's €600 less! @ €2,110 including shipping and duty to Ireland.

I've only just found that item on Newegg there so will prob go with that in the next week unless a closer online retailer like overclockers or scan etc have it stocked.

centralpoint.be may be legit but going by that not the best value.

Holy crap... Doesn't matter if it's 3k or 2k :- D These enthousiast modules are so over-priced.
Too bad that Ryzen/Threadripper do actually benefit from it... but it almost makes Intel x299 a better platform since you can buy...cheaper memory to get the same actual performance : /.

I bought all my ECC DDR3 memory for 200 euros for 128gb kit, ECC DDR4 for 1200 euros (currently inflated to 1600+) for 128gb kit but this is...just wow.

(are you really wondering why Belgian website doesn't offer English ;- ) ? You're expectation are too high )

That DDR3 price though!

Same kit comparison
INTEL $1,699 / €1,800 including duty
https://m.newegg.com/products/N82E16820232573

AMD $1,999 / €2,110 including duty
https://m.newegg.com/products/N82E16820232630

Those two above are more or less identical with CL 14 for both, only AMD is 2,933 and Intel example is 3000 Hz.

The Intel one including duty and conversion lands at €1,800. But if I was going Intel I wouldn't be going for the higher clocked stuff so I would be in your 1,600 area for DDR4.

Looks like I'm going to have to swallow this bitter pill for the RAM speed thirsty TR.

Nah :) Just wondered why such a comprehensive website like that wasn't available in English as it never returned any results in Google. ;)

I bought a Vega card for my brother and I had to use French LDLC.

Now that was fun and tons of google traslate. They would even answer my English emails in French during some back-n-forth communication :- D !
( I need to send a a scan of proof of identity )

Lucky bro!

Gonna get the CL14 2933 kit. It'll future proof my system for a few years anyway. I cannot think of any crazy situation where I'll exceed that.

It says on the q.skill website that it's on the QVL for TR and the board I'm getting so that's some serious high spec RAM.
