The animation is really really good. yea, I agree, people usually jeopardize the overall quality but nowadays, Anima people is the best option for animated characters.

The atmosphere is very good. Congratulations

Hi,
I have tried to install the latest daily build but as soon as I drag a new map (multimap for instance).....3dmax crashes and I have notoced a very slow refresh on the material previews. I have rolled back to the 1.6 and everything works fine.....is it just me?

Thanks

[Max] General Discussion / Re: limiting panorama views?
« on: 2017-06-19, 14:19:51 »
I was looking for exactly the same option. Limiting the stereoscopic view would be great....most of the time 360 degrees are only needed for interiors.

For Vr Platforms at the moment we are working with this: https://theviewer.co/home
But I have recently found this one, pricier but definitely more powerful and complete: http://www.instavr.co/

Hope this helps

I believe per element randomisation mode in MultiMap would be quite handy.

Thanks

Great images! There is something I don't get though,
it seems to me you spend a lot of time on detailing your set, but you decided to leave all the foliages of the background tree in super low poly and even the brick texture to me looks a bit too simple. Is there any particular reason for that?

I agree on the saturation though.

Again, congratulations. the light is super.

Sorry for the lack of information.
Being part of a set of images, this particular one was conceived as the one able to convey the quiet and silence aspect of camping in Wales.
Grass and trees are scattered with Forest Pack. The trunk on the left is from megascans as the stones in the foreground.
Volumetric light in a big box although the layered mist as been put in postproduction by duplicating the volumetric pass and playing a bit with masks.
In terms of time, I left my computer rendering thorough the weekend, although after 8 hourse the image was already clean.

Thanks for your appreciation.

Hi all,
just finished a new visual of a camping hut in Wales. This is part of an original set but the client didn't pick it up for the final submission. I have always been very fond of this composition therefore I decided to spen a bit of my spare time to finish it.

feedback are welcome

« on: 2016-09-20, 19:07:08 »
Hi,
actually I don't need super photorealism. I think a water flowing with no collision though might look really weird.
Can particle flow simulate something similar? I have very little experience with particles.....

thanks for your help guys.
