Title: Evan Alexander Sketchbook 01
Post by: Ealexander on 2019-12-10, 20:47:57
Various experiments, client R & D etc.

I use Corona for Cinema4D and model mostly in Vectorworks, but also in Cinema.  I'm a Production Designer, but I've been playing in product design lately.

More work as it comes, here's a few recent shots to get the thread started.  Questions or C&C always welcome.  Thanks for looking!

Hi, how do you achieve that glass effect? I've tried with volumetric but cant obtain a nice transition between green and transparent.

Hi,
Sorry I missed your question until now. I am using a slight green to white gradient in the refraction color channel. I cubic map it to the whole glass (fit to object), then play with the positioning of the green and white sliders on the gradient and the blend between the two.

Nice! I like how you tell a story in each shot, instead of doing boring sterile archviz.
