Hello,
I just wanter to share my wonderment of how fast corona is, this render took 50 seconds (1300x730).
It is first "fun" test render of upcoming project, and I am still not sure about name. Cool old cars and exteriors will happen. I may also update here my WIPs. Share your thoughts.
Cheers!
Jakub

Either it's because of compression or the edges are very aliased. Also, is it fake DOF? It probably took so little time because there are areas of pure black, so it's virtually like rendering a smaller image.
-
Well yes, edges have not had enough time to get anti aliased properly. And yes it is also post pro dof. And yes, there is also a lot of black. But even thought still very fast +.
-
Something is wrong with your DOF - it's blurry in the middle and sharp in front and back, maybe you forgot to invert it? :)

It's drowning in darkness ;)

Thanks for comments. The scene should be located on a desert or on a beach. Here are some first mood/lighting setup tests. 60 seconds / render. Let me know what you think.

It's drowning in light ;)

:D very unusual in desert

Drowning in color.
-
In noise, actually...
-
1. only skylight
2. skylight + sun
Lighting almost finished. I guess I will lower the sun even more.
-
I don't "digest"one thing : do you resize your renders or what?
-
No I do not, I just dont let them render for more then a few seconds as it is enought for me to judge lightning at this stage.
-
Your lighting is too uniform. In my opinion you should make it more intensity-varied or colour-varied. Just watch a random car advert. Or maybe you are trying to make it look like a photo?
-
Yes, photorealism is what I am always after, but that does not mean that image have to be uniform in any way.
