Hi,

I am trying to render my scene, whenever I hit render (weather to Cinemas viewport or in Coronas) I get a render without any materials (see A attached)

Though if I hit 'Start IR' I get the results I want (see B attachment)

Can anyone help please.

spec: Mac OS Mojave 10.14.6  /  Cinema 4d R23.110 and the latest hot fix of Corona (in fully working 45day demo mode)

Thanks in advance.

Lee

edit:  So I copied my whole scene onto a new file, and it now renders with materials and looks how it should. Though it'd be great if someone could shed some light on why it persistently does this on the original file.

I would look at the Mtl. Override in the General Settings tab. Also the Scene Environment tab in Corona Render Settings just to see if anything is ticked in those areas. Wouldn't explain the IR rendering OK though.

Hello,

I would also recommend checking the Project Asset inspector to see whether you are correctly using paths or have correctly localized filepaths for your bitmaps.
Other than that, try doubleclicking the material preview in the Material Editor and see what that does.

Thanks and let us know,

Hi, thanks both for your response, I'll check both of those ideas.
